An intriguing, lovely Crown Trifari set in brushed and polished goldtone metal. The brooch looks like a stylized sea anemone or sea plant, with waving, flowing tendrils. Clasp is sterling (marked), as are the two small melon beads at each end. The unusual clasp is a patented design (apparently dating to the late 60s). The "loop" end is shaped to fit the spring mechanism of the hook; to clasp, simply use that end to depress the spring, and the loop just slips into the hook. You can do this one-handed; it's the easiest clasp assembly I've ever seen! Necklace is approx. 25" long; excellent condition. |

Striking 60's black & white necklace with a lot going on! Goes great with the black & white shell listed on this page. Bold, but not overbearing. The white beads are ceramic, approx. 8 to 9 mm each, almost certainly hand made, as they’re not symmetrical, identical, or perfect. Round black spacer disks are glass. But, what sets this piece apart from similar ones are the three large brushed metallic beads. These silvery or nickel-tone beads add a different twist. Center one is very big--about 18 mm; the two side ones, about 15 mm. Beads are strung on wire. |

Beautiful matching set of rhinestone dress & earring clips! It's extremely rare to find a matching set: Marcia "Sparkles" Brown shows only two in her book "Unsigned Beauties of Costume Jewelry." Dress clip is nearly identical to the one on the cover of the "Antique Trader Jewelry Price Guide," 2nd Ed., 2007. That's in sapphire-colored stones, this blue is like a fine aquamarine or blue zircon stone. Based on the patent number, I date this set ca. 1931 to 1948, most likely the middle part of that period. Set in plated (possibly rhodium) pot metal, dress clip features 18 large navette rhinestones, each approx. 15 x 8 mm. |

Dress clip measures approx. 2 11/17" long x 1 7/8" across widest point; earrings, 3/4" long x 5/8" wide. Excellent condition. All stones are clear & brilliant. Backs show a handful of areas of wear to the finish. All clip mechanisms are tight, dress clip teeth are perfect. Apparently worn very rarely. As if finding one of these weren't rare enough, there was a second set with this one at the estate sale. It's listed in our Ruby Lane store. With two dress clips, you can create a lovely sweetheart-shaped neckline. Contact me if interested; discount available for purchase of both. Brooch measures about 2¼″ high x 1¾″ wide; earrings are about 1″ x ¾″. Excellent condition, almost no signs of wear on any of the pieces. There is one small mark on one of the polished “tendrils.” Since the rest of the piece is in such wonderful shape, this could have been inherent in the manufacturing. |

Vintage Coro Christmas Jingle Bells Clear & Blue Rhinestone Clip Earrings |

The most unique earrings ever—truly a “must have” for your holiday events! These Coro treasures are actually little bells & earrings in one! They must be rare, for I can’t find any like them in my extensive research. I’m guessing they date to the early to mid 50s, as they seem similar generally to the Coro rhinestone pieces of that period. The fronts each feature a large (8–9 mm) exquisitely cut blue center rhinestone surrounded by 10 clear stones (3–4 mm). Center stones are deep, perfectly faceted, and incredibly lively! A raised beaded edge around the center stone adds more sparkle. The backs are wee bell housings with beautiful openwork sides. These earrings actually do jingle when you wear them, and they look simply smashing “on.” What fun to wear to a party, and what a lot of compliments you’ll get! If I had any parties to go to, you would not be seeing them here…. Measure approx. ¾″ dia. Excellent condition; minor finish wear on earring clips. |

Ledo (Polcini after the early 1960s) jewelry is harder to find than many brands of costume jewelry, and is of very high quality. These earrings are detailed & realistic, with a striking three-dimensional center floret— a black convex disc with individual black "stems" tipped in gold. Even the backs feature beautifully textured goldtone surfaces. These earrings are little works of art! Measure approx. 1" dia. and are in near-mint condition. Appear rarely or barely worn. |
