Sexy, silky Vanity Fair floor-length Antron nylon gown, circa late 70s, features very deep "V" neckline with gathered bust, and a wide, inverted "V" empire-waist inset embroidered in a floral pattern. Waist ties at back with long spaghetti ties. Skirt has full, 100" sweep that falls in soft, deep folds. The color is a soft pink with a hint of peach.

Slips, nightgowns, peignoir sets, bathing suits, lounge robes, and more for home, resort, and beach wear.

Hips: Full (up to 39")

Length: Approx. 56" down center back

Rare Vintage 50’s Blue Swan Sexy Glam Black Nightgown, Size 36

Price: $95.00    SOLD

Very rare nightgown from Blue Swan, circa late 50s. This brand is rarely spotted in any case, but especially not in a nightgown like this. In fact, something like this  is totally hard to find anywhere!

Bodice of this nylon nightie is awesome: the front is delicately patterned Chantilly lace, lined in sheer black nylon for an overall semi-sheer effect. Nylon tulle and ribbons of wide satin trim the neck and bustlines. Midriff is accented by satin ribbon bow.

Clean, simple skirt perfectly complements the dramatic top treatment. And, this nylon is superbly silky, a match for any Van Raalte or Gossard-Artemis (which is some of the silkiest ever) nylon.

Size: Labeled size 36, and appears to be running true. Suited to a B or C cup, I would think. But, please use measurements below.

*Measurements:

Bust: 36 plus ease for fullness; there’s some give to the fabric, but it’s not really “stretchy.”

Waist: 26″ to 32″ (unstretched to stretched; there is stretch to the nylon-only part of the gown)

Hip: 40″ + gathers for a bit of extra fullness

Length: 32" from underarm, at side seam

* See our Sizing Tips for how we measure.

Condition: Near mint; possibly unworn.

Price: $60

Circa early 70s, this short Olga nightgown is timeless. Slips and nighties of this style are being worn as dresses, and this one could be, too, with its wide lace straps and mid-weight nylon fabric. Really cute with a shrug, shawl, or wrap.

Gown is trimmed at the bodice with ivory stretch lace and at the bottom hem with a narrow non-stretch lace. Has the popular "fit & flare" look, with a a hem sweep of about 90"! Constructed of 4 seamed panels for swingy fit.

Fabric: 100% nylon, exclusive of trim; machine washable

Condition: Excellent. There was a tiny break in the lace, which I've repaired. Under the left bust area near the side seam; nobody will notice it, nor would you if I  hadn’t told you. Lace stretch straps are still stretchy, hem lace still crisp. Gown has been hand washed and is ready to wear.

Size: Labeled size 34; appears to run true. This does stretch, so you don't need much "extra" allowance for your body; meant to fit as snugly or as loosely as you want. (Of course, there are limits to how much you can stretch it out!) Please use measurements below to check for fit.

* Measurements:

Bust: 34" (measured around inside of bustline to account for ease)

Natural waist: 29"

Hips: 35"

Length: 29" down side seam at underarm

Vintage 70's Olga Short “Fit ‘n Flare” Nightgown, Slip,

or Slip Dress, Size 34

Vintage Vanity Fair Peach-Pink Long Nightgown, 100" Sweep! Sz Small

Gorgeous Olga nightgown is very rare—great collector’s piece! All-lace bodice (nylon & spandex) style predates the BodySilk collection that featured the twist bodice in nylon, and is far more rare. I believe this style was made in the early 70s, and only for a couple of years. Of course the front is stunning, but the back, with its plunging “V,” is beautiful as well. Both feature detailed piecework & seaming meant to fit your curves just right! Gown is solid, rich black, but some phots have been lightened for detail.

Amazing full sweep—approx. 182circumference—more than 15 feet! (shown with crinoline here to give you an idea of the fullness).

Style No.: 9292

Size: Labeled size small; appears to run true. See measurements to determine fit.

* Measurements:

Bust: 29to 36 (unstretched to gently stretched)

Waist: 24½to 28

Fabric: 80% nylon/20% spandex, bodice; 100% nylon, skirt

Condition: Near mint; no flaws noted. No wash wear to the label, barely worn. Note: because this appears to never have been washed, I have not done so in order not to cause wear to the label.

Vintage OLGA Twist-Bodice Full-Sweep Black Nightgown, Sz Small; All-Lace Bodice!

SOLD

One of the loveliest Vanity Fair gowns I’ve ever had, and I’ve had many! This is the embroidered blue label, which indicates late 50’s/early 60’s era. Soft peach color, with an elegant double-chiffon bodice embroidered with a delicate pale blue and coppery-colored leaf design.  Wide chiffon trim at neckline, shoulders, and hem gives the appearance of tulle netting. Gathered, wide waist inset is very figure flattering.

Beautiful gown for special occasions or everyday wear!

Size: Labeled size 36; appears to be best for a full B or C cup—was large on my size XS/S manni.
