These early 80’s Bruno Magli leather pumps feature pleated peeptoe vamps with a chevron-shaped metal accent, and the heels have a metallic inset for a flash of gold. In a mid-grey color to go with almost anything, and a style versatile enough to go anywhere. Made in Italy of fine, supple leather, these exhibit the quality & workmanship Maglis are noted for. Size and serial numbers are handwritten on the lining. Size: Labeled size 9N, but go by the measurements of the shoe. We suggest you measure a similar pair you may already own for comparison. |

A bodacious pair of shoes, circa early 70s (or very late 60s), these remind us of the days when the British boutique look was driving fashion. These could have walked right off of Carnaby Street! Indeed, they may have been made in Great Britain or elsewhere in Europe for a U.S. distributor (we think this due to the odd sizing designation). Ultra-unique toes and heels—I’ve never seen any quite like them. Toes are curved and pointed, while the chunky heels are 5-sided. Words can’t suffice; I’ve shown details in the additional photos. All manmade materials. The black faux patent leather is supple and soft, and the partial sueded lining feels real. Balance of lining is tricot, which, surprisingly, has not aged at all. Though this maker, Magnifique, is not well-known, the shoe is of nice quality. Size: Labeled size N7 (7 narrow), but go by the measurements. We suggest you measure a similar pair you may already own for comparison. They seem fairly true to size; I take a 6 1/2 M, and these were a hair too narrow and long (but check the measurements!). The only reason these are for sale is because they didn’t quite fit me—else you’d never have seen them! |

Shoe Measurements: Heel to toe: 9 3/4″, measured on inside of shoe along footbed (your foot will not be right up against the end of the shoe, but not too far off) Sole width: 2 7/8″, measured across sole, on outside, at widest point Heel height: Just a hair under 4″ Platform height: 5/16″ Condition: New old stock, unworn. Only marks on the soles are from when I tried them on and walked around a few minutes. The platforms show some cracking of the patent vinyl, but there’s no peeling off; it’s all intact. Not noticeable when shoes are being worn. There is writing on the inside that says “8000,” possibly a price or a serial number. |

These 1920’s pumps are “very wearable vintage,” stylish and sturdy enough for use now and for years to come. Or great for display in a shop or in your home if you’re a collector. Made of a tweed-patterned fabric, predominantly cream and brown with pink accents, they feature an ankle strap with glass-button closure. Lined in leather and fabric, with sewn-in heel pads to prevent wear on one’s stockings or chafing at the back of the heel. These are very well-made shoes, and appear as if they would be comfortable to wear. Size: Not labeled; please go by the measurements of the shoe. We suggest you measure a similar pair you may already own for comparison. While narrow, they’re not excessively so and should fit a modern “narrow” foot. Appear to be about a size 7, give or take a bit. |

Shoe Measurements: Heel to toe: 9 ¾″, measured on inside of shoe along footbed (your foot will not touch up against the end of the shoe on these) Sole width: 2 13/16″, measured across sole, on outside, at widest point Heel height: 2 ½″ Condition: Very good; much less wear and much more sound than one would expect. Interior and exterior are very clean, and I’ve cleaned the interior leather linings. Left shoe has a brown spot on the inside that looks like glue residue. The sole is made such that there is a very thin layer of leather on top of the base sole; this is wearing around the edges and will probably need replacing down the road. The sole base appears to be in excellent condition. |
